Each 28-ft-long girder was delivered to New York’s 30 Rockefeller Plaza as four pieces, each about 7 ft long. The installation team used a recently refinished passenger elevator to bring each piece to the 67th floor and used a temporary work platform to rig them the last few floors to the top.
