Student Travel Grants

Join us at a future industry event!

Congratulations to the seven students who received Student Travel Grants for the upcoming fall and winter terms! View the grant opportunities section below for additional details.

AISC, with funding from the AISC Education Foundation, offers travel grants to students to attend highly informative industry meetings and exciting events, allowing them to connect with mentors and have an inside look at opportunities within the structural steel industry.

Grant recipients will receive travel reimbursement, including direct travel costs (airfare, ground transportation, personal car mileage, etc.) and lodging expenses in specified AISC hotel room blocks. Reimbursement guidelines vary by event and will be provided to grant recipients at the time the grants are awarded.

Students are expected to participate fully and attend all group meals and meetings related to the event as applicable. A written summary of the students' experience following the event is also required as a final deliverable.
