We dropped the rules for the 2026 Student Steel Bridge Competition (SSBC) on September 2!

Watch the recorded webinar to help you kick off the competition season right. SSBC Rules Committee Chair Jason McCormick, PE, PhD and National Head Judge Javier Moncada, PE discussed this year’s major changes to the Rules and provided a general overview of what to expect this year.

You'll also find new and updated resources for your team, including how to connect with structural engineering mentors in your area and an opportunity to get your team in front of potential sponsors. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a brand new participant, there’s bound to be something for you to learn!
